Join The Amanda Hope Rainbow Foundation for a ribbon cutting and open house on August 28th to celebrate the expansion of mobile therapy services for Arizona families dealing with childhood cancer
(PHOENIX, ARIZ. -- August 18, 2021) With a generous donation from the Fertitta Family and Brent and Christina Yates of Be The Lead, Arizona families fighting childhood cancer will gain access to critical mental health services with a new mobile therapy program set to launch this Fall. On Saturday, August 29th, the Amanda Hope Rainbow Foundation will host a special ribbon cutting ceremony and open house event to celebrate this generous gift and its impact to the community.
"Fighting childhood cancer takes an enormous toll on families when it comes to mental health," said Lorraine Tallman, Founder of Amanda Hope Rainbow Angels Foundation.
"Our in-house Comfort and Care team of licensed therapists provides free counseling, play therapy, and supportive services to Arizona families who have a child battling cancer, a blood disorder, or any other life-threatening illness," she said.
Services are provided to pediatric patients, their siblings, and their parents/caregivers. Individual, couples, and family counseling appointments are available, as well as support communities and educational sessions.
On Saturday, August 28th, the Amanda Hope Rainbow Foundation will host a ribbon cutting and open house to celebrate the generous donations of the Fertitta family, the Yates family and Be The Lead as the new mobile therapy vans are put to use helping families heal around the Valley.

Amanda Hope Rainbow Angels is an Arizona-based nonprofit, support and educational organization designated by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) tax-deductible, tax-exempt organization, founded in 2012 in celebration of Amanda Hope’s life. During her three-year fight with leukemia and nine-month battle with a brain tumor, Amanda Hope dreamed that one day she would design a fun clothing line for kids just like her that would provide comfort and dignity during chemo treatments. Amanda's life ended all too soon but her dream lives on through our Comfycozy's for Chemo apparel and her legacy continues with our expansion of programs and services.
